Rating:

I love my 3x. Ihave had it for almost 2 years now and without it I do not think I would be getting my degree (if I pass). It has kept me brilliantly organised and the freeware on the net is generally preety good. One recommendation I'd make is to upgrade the DateBK to Pimlico softwares' DateBK 4C... if not to save the Gorillas in ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Excellent display, has Flash RAM (220 words)

Rating:

I upgraded from a PalmPilot Profesional last year, to the Palm IIIx. The advantages have been huge. The first thing you notice is that the screen is very sharp, much sharper than that of the old Pilot series and the old Palm III. The reason I chose a Palm over any other PDA was the enormous amount of software available for it. Websites ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Palm 3x: PALM III e (384 words)

A couple of years ago, PDA's such as the palm III were only available to those with a lot of spare cash or who had more money than sense. However, in recent times, the image of the PDA belonging in the hands of the high paid businessman has vanished. The Palm III has become one of my most dependent utilities alongside the mobile ...  Read the complete review

Yes, it's very handy and it's a good gadget but really it is just a gadget. It doesn't organise your life, sorry but if your unorganised your unorganised and this is not going to organise you, you will still miss your bus, forget to water your neighbours plants etc. Ok it has some nice to have features, beeping to remind ...  Read the complete review

When my old sharp "organiser" died with a knackered dot matrix screen a year and a bit ago I decided to replace it with one of those nice handwriting recognition organisers that id seen around. A quick flick through the argos catalogue showed a couple at the £80 mark but alittle more research showed that these didnt take your handwriting ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review brain saver (148 words)

Rating:

The IIIx is absolutely amazing, replacing most of my brain and then some. I got it about 2/3rd's of the way through my A-Levels and found it most useful for pretty much everything - homework, notes in lessons, reminders, games, e-books... I use the AvantGo software that is available for it to keep up to date with news and stuff and I'm ...  Read the complete review

I have a Palm III for almost 2 years now. It has been brilliant. I use it for my shopping list, birthdays, addresses, timesheets, bus/train timetables, playing games.... I have had a few problems with the unit, firts time in Aus, and the problem was rectified promptly by Palm support. However, with the problem I had in the UK, I had many ...  Read the complete review

I've had a palm 3x for approx a year now, and must say I have found it an absolute godsend - I can honestly say I couldn't be without one now. The myriad of application available for free download from places such as www.tucows.com, mean the functionality of this clever little gadget never runs out. Constant swapping of batteries ...  Read the complete review

The 3COM Palm IIIx has been a total life saver throughout my A-levels. I'm able to keep all my addresses, my diary, accounts, shopping lists, essays, homework and note book all in one shirt pocket sized piece of equipment. No more bits of paper, wallet full of business cards and lists on the back of envelopes for me. I've been ...  Read the complete review

I recieved a palm 3x as a gift 8 months ago and at first didn't even know what it was, however it took me only minutes to feel completely in control of it. It is that easy to use that even my pensioner parents soon got the hang of it. I mainly use the calender in conjunction with an I-mac, and as a result never miss birthdays ...  Read the complete review
