The M515 (and possibly others in the M5XX series) are prone to something called electrostatic discharge (ESD) build-up. This happens over time as the metal casing of the M515 rubs against clothes. It causes the USB sync to stop functioning. This is a well known problem amongst Palm users, and I believe is now being ackowledged by Palm themselves. My M515 has just stopped syncing after 7 months - luckily it's still under warranty so I'm going to return to the retailer for an exchange (hopefully for a different model). Avoid the M515. ... I have been using Palm hanhelds for a long time (almost three years). The first handheld I had was the Palm V, and know I have bought the Palm m515. Ever since I bought palm V I realized that in spite of the price, it was a good investment. A lot of people told me that I was crazy buying it, because it wasn't very usefull, but now I wouldn't be able to live without it. With this "mini computer" you can practically do everything. It comes with an wide range of applications to begin to use it (agenda, notes, tasks, etc.). For the work it is something really useful. It helps you to plan your time, thanks to the agenda. ...
