I got my palm m515 new, sealed in box, from ebay for a bargain £4, and now I honestly couldn't live without it!!!! I always carry it with me in my handbag. The features it has are really helpfull: Address - I use this as a back up for all of my phone numbers and addresses. That way if my phone goes wrong, not only do I have the important numbers on my Palm, but also on my computer. Which means I can print them out and have a paper back up too! Date book - I use this to keep all my day-to-day events listed. Its great for keeping a track of appointments. As a student I also use it to keep my timetable, so I know where to be and when. Premium Review M515 - Treat with caution!! (94 words)

The M515 (and possibly others in the M5XX series) are prone to something called electrostatic discharge (ESD) build-up. This happens over time as the metal casing of the M515 rubs against clothes. It causes the USB sync to stop functioning. This is a well known problem amongst Palm users, and I believe is now being ackowledged by Palm themselves. Avoid the M515. ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Palm M515: Very usefull handheld (401 words)
by - written on 24/03/03 (Very useful, 324 readings)
Rating:

I have been using Palm hanhelds for a long time (almost three years). The first handheld I had was the Palm V, and know I have bought the Palm m515. Ever since I bought palm V I realized that in spite of the price, it was a good investment. A lot of people told me that I was crazy buying it, because it wasn't very usefull, but now I wouldn't be able to live without it. With this "mini computer" you can practically do everything. It comes with an wide range of applications to begin to use it (agenda, notes, tasks, etc.). For the work it is something really useful. It helps you to plan your time, thanks to the agenda. ...  Read the complete review
