Advantages: Very simple to use

Disadvantages: Poor software bundle, poor build quality

I bought a Palm T series and after a year it developed a screen fault called screen drift. This means that in order to tap on an icon to activate a program I have to tap about 2cm below it. That means when the slider is shut I loose the use of the bottom row of icons on the screen. A hard reset will not fix it and Palm refuses to acknowledge the fault.

The software bundle comes with it is poor. Sure there is a lot that comes with it but Documents to Go syncs very badly with Office applications and is slow and clumsy.

Real Player for Palm is extremely basic and lacks many essential features.

The Palm Desktop software is quite good but lacks the finesse of Windows based products and there are problems with sync-ing with the computer from time to time.

The PDA has bad battery life too. The thing runs out of puff after about an hours use and then you have to recharge it. The charger doesn't even switch itself off when the charging is complete and goes on charging indefinitly - thus reducing the life of the battery.

The Palm T series lacks teh functionality of Windows based devices and does not synch well with Windows products. Its slow, the battery life is poor and build quality is suspect. A disappointment at £200.

Summary: Poor software bundle, dubious build quality, poor battery life.
