Palm Treo 650 ... is a great little smartphone. It s more like a pebble than a jewel like what the iPhone is, but with it s Palm OS you have ten years worth of software available, from Tom Tom navigator and GPS logging software(requires a bluetooth GPS unit) astronomy software, through a huge number of ebook and document readers, learning programmes like supermemo, language and reference dictionaries, electronic reference, medical reference, the value for money of the old Palm O/S device (over buying every thing new for the shiny iPhone and Palm s new WebOS) is considerable. And games, games, games, and most all of it is on bittorrent. This smartphone is my second brain. Oh, it does ... Read the full review: Great Little Smartphone by meika |

Palm M130 ... curvy little entry-level palm easily sits in a pocket and does the usual basic Palm PDA functions of managing contacts and appointments. It s all plastic including the screen which means it s light. Unfortunately the display is absolutely useless in normal daylight and you will be walking into shadow int order to be able to use it. The colour screen is a good thing but unlike it s earlier entry level siblings (the m125 or m110) it takes a factory fitted battery which means you have to crack the case with a spudger to put a new battery in. Though these are now fairly cheap. The older entry level Pam PDA just took some AAA batteries and you didn t need to crack the cas... Palm Treo 500 ... used both the Treo 650 and 750 i was quite dissapointed when i recieved a Treo 500 device on trial. Initial thoughts about the device were that it looked quite cheaply made and didnt feel to comfortable in your hand. It uses the same windows platform as both the Treo and 650 and 750 which i cannot fault for ease of use and realiability however it think that this handset lets the range down. Since having the Trial device i have had to send two of these Treo 500 s back due to them being faulty. The device also doesnt benefit from a touch screen like the previous devices making it more focused to making calls than being a email device. That said the device does benefi...
