Advantages: cost

Disadvantages: poor web browsing

Handhelds have come an awfully long way since being glorified calculators. This really is the dogs danglies!
For the technically minded it boasts:
Processor: StrongARM SA1100 133 MHz Memory
RAM: 16 MB DRAM; upgrade via a proprietary plug-in 16 MB DIMM card,
ROM: OS Mask ROM module
CF type II card slot
Type I/II PC Card slot
7.7" STN color backlit LCD touch-screen display
Lithium-Ion battery pack yielding approximately 8.5 hours of operation (2.5 hours to recharge)
Honda connector for RS232 and mobile phone connection
IrDA interface (115 kbits/sec)
EPOC32 ER5 operating system
Notification LED
Slot to hold the stylus inside the unit
Microphone

What this lot adds up to is a mobile comminications centre
that the first trip to the moon would have died for. If you need a package to hit the road with then this is your baby - not cheap, but hey in this area you really do get what you pay for.
