Advantages: Amazing, some of the best specs out

Disadvantages: Not greatest for media.

After reading some of the other reviews i feel i must write my own. This is one of the most amazing devices i have used. It's like having the internet in your pocket, as well as your emails, texts, phone calls, some games, media such as music, videos.. the list goes on.
First off I chose this phone over the iPhone which i was originally looking at. The specs are overwhelmingly better than Apples product. Camera of 5mp compared to Apples 2mp. The Omnia also has support for different photographic modes and video support with motion stabilizing - which may i add the iPhone does not.

The storage. OK so iPhone comes with 32GB - I didn't know this originally. The standard Omnia has 8GB with support for an extra 16GB and an internal system memory of ~90mb. The iPhone has an option of 8, 16 or 32GB (i dont know the system memory)
** Please note that when i use the term system memory i do not mean program memory (RAM) i am referring to the memory chip in the phone on which the OS is installed. **
Maxed out, both the Omnia and iPhone currently hit 32GB.
The 3.2" TFT display is a minor let down. This is one thing i would have preferred to be larger and also multi-touch but sadly that is Apples domain. Display is fairly crisp but fades in sunlight.
Media playback is only beaten by the big comparison, the iPhone. The touch-player is nice.. ish and WMP isn't all that great. I recommend downloading S2P (free) for music playback. Also note that the sound can be made louder by a simple engineer tweak that anyone can do.
Finally all other things fall into perspective. There isn't a great archive of games available but WORMS is fairly fun, and some devs are working on porting HTC apps across. Word, excel and PPT are a nice addition which i don't honestly use much.
On a final note: the GUI (graphical user interface) isn't the best i have seen. I recommend downloading SPB Mobile Shell and SPB Mobile Skins and customizing from there, it's a great little app that will help alow for finger use.
Testing isn't hard with QWERTY, nor is call making.

Overall my favourite phone, but if you're going for entertainment and media i could not recommend it as the iphone out performs it in these areas. Omnia has best specs for its style however.

--- battery life is amazing if you turn off wifi and bluetooth when not in use ;) ---
