Advantages: Good features, sleak look

Disadvantages: battery life and touch screen terrible

I got the Omnia back within the first few months of release and at the start I was generally very impressed. As time has gone by though, I've grown continually dissatisfied with the phone overall.

The touchscreen does cause a great deal of issues. I've got an iPod Touch and compared to the touchscreen technology on that and the iPhone, the Omnia's is very unresponsive and slow.

I've also had a number of issues with the actual phone on the device. I can constantly hear feedback on the other end of the line and it does become quite annoying. Also when the call is put on speakerphone, the person on the other end of the line reports that they can hear their own voice back.

When the phone was released, it was dubbed as an iPhone. It definitely is not.

It was dubbed as being an iPhone killer when it was first released but quite simply, it isn't.

Summary: At first it has potential but there are too many flaws

I am not a fan of Samsung products, had nothing but trouble with my current model of Samsung camera phone. It really only works when it wants to, and If i turn it off or let the battery run out, it takes forever to get it working again, as well as plenty of removing the battery and putting it back in. Nice review, glad to see I am not the only person that is struggling with Samsung products.
