The Samsung Omnia 'Smart Phone' is, in my opinion, one of the best on the market at the minute. To start with the phone is a reasonable size (slightly smaller than the i-phone, slightly bigger than the equivalent Nokia), light weight and of stylish design. I was slightly reluctant to go for a Microsoft OS, as I'm not the biggest ... Read the complete review

I got the Omnia back within the first few months of release and at the start I was generally very impressed. As time has gone by though, I've grown continually dissatisfied with the phone overall. The touchscreen does cause a great deal of issues. I've got an iPod Touch and compared to the touchscreen technology on that and the iPhone, ... Read the complete review

I got this phone as I needed a new mobile phone,I was originally looking for an 8mp phone with WIFI and unfortunately the shops weren't selling the phone i wanted, being as I am impatient I went for the next best option. I really liked the look of the phone as it is sleek and quite thin (and touch screen) However I had major problems getting ... Read the complete review

I got this phone because I had a good contract offer with Vodafone and while I really wanted an iPhone this was dubbed as the next best thing, the 'iPhone killer'. It's not. Compared to the iPhone this handset is very limited. The touchscreen created the biggest problems. It is unresponsive and slow, and very awkward. The stylus is ... Read the complete review

I initially came across the omnia after the stress of my previous mobile phone and its continual button shedding habit. My main requirement for my contract upgrade was for it to have no buttons and a good camera. I have found that the omnia has been my perfect match. Initially confusing with two main menus and endless amounts of options but i soon ... Read the complete review

The "Omnia" is a phone that tests your patience, if you enjoy hitting the screen over and over again and like the thought of hitting it with a hammer in order for it to acknowledge the action you want to take-then go for it!! It looks good, but functionality is not to my liking! I had a Touch Diamond-HTC phone, this was a nightmare too, ... Read the complete review

After seeing the advert poster for the Omnia and knowing that my existing phone contract was coming up for renewal, I was really exited about possibly getting my mits on this when I could not afford the I-phone and could not wait for the N97. Boy do i regret chosing the samsung. The touch screen is very dimb witted unless you use the stylus for ... Read the complete review

not quite a camara, not quite a phone, not quite a computer, not quite a gps. The omnia is slow, sluggish. the camera, despite its 5 mp, performs poorly under low light conditions and the flash burns the pictures. The gps wont track more than 7 satellites which gives you accuracies no better than 40 metters. not quite a computer: because your sistem may stall pretty often, i have to reset mine at least 3 times a day.

I was told that touch screen phones are rubbish, but i had never tried one so i thought i would get it anyway.. I am glad i did because it is a really good phone, the best phone i have had and i have had a few. My phones only usually last me a few months, but this phone has lasted me 8 months. I have dropped it so many times and it is still in ... Read the complete review

Hello! I have bought this phone about one month ago. I decided to buy it mainly because of build in GPS and Wi-Fi and because it`s like my laptop-but much, much smaller. Pros: - big touch screen but some application (very few) will not work full screen (unusual screen resolution), - build in GPS( works perfect with ... Read the complete review

Well, I have been using Samsung Omnia 16G with Orange Network. I have to admit I don't really like this phone. Here are my reasons 1. It's clever smart phone however, touch response isn't really good and I have to use stylus at all the time to navigate and to text. 2. It's impossible to text when you are ... Another touchscreen phone, the Samsung Omnia i900 also dubbed the Iphone killer, has arrived into the market. I have owned it for more than half a year now, and I must say it's not the Iphone killer if flashy games is what you are after. First let's talk about the specs. The Omnia runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 with 624 Mhz, and has a ... Read the complete review

I'm a great fan of flashy phones, there is nothing I love more than waving my new trendy mobile in my friends face. However after the release of the Apple I-Phone I found being a bit flash a bit hard. I got my Samsung Omnia in November on an Orange Contract. The phone itself is a great shape, and very light to hold, it also fits nicely in to the ... Read the complete review

I got a bit fed up with my Samsung SGH-i600 as I found it a bit on the slow side and the lack of a touch screen limited what I can do on the Windows Mobile operating system. I selected the the Samsung SGH-i900 (aka: OMNIA) to be worthy of becoming the replacement. It's supposed to be an "iPhone killer" and similarly, has a full touch ... Read the complete review

After reading some of the other reviews i feel i must write my own. This is one of the most amazing devices i have used. It's like having the internet in your pocket, as well as your emails, texts, phone calls, some games, media such as music, videos.. the list goes on. First off I chose this phone over the iPhone which i was originally ... Read the complete review

I have had my Samsung i900 Omnia since October. It came 'free' on a 12 month contract for £40 a month with Vodafone, including 500 text messages and 200 mins cross network. The word 'omnia' is Italian for everything. When this phone first came out on the market it was due to be big competion for the Apple Iphone. Its of a ... Read the complete review

Billed as a huge rival to Apple's iPhone, the Samsung SGH-i900, better known as the Omnia, had a lot of hype to live up to. Upon first use you get a slight tinge of disappointment as getting around the system feels a little clumsy, but given a couple of hours, this all goes away and you are left with a dream of a mobile phone.
