T-Mobile MDA Vario IV ... have been due for upgrade since September 2008, but only one phone had caught my eye; this was the HTC Touch Pro. I saw it back in June 2008 and noticed that it would be released in August, so I started searching to see if T Mobile would be taking it onto their network as that could work out perfectly timed for my upgrade if they did. I knew they usually rebranded HTC phones as T Mobile phones so I was hoping that they would do the same for this. I was pleased to find that T Mobile had taken on this phone and it would be rebranded as a Vario IV, to replace the (now) dated Vario III. T-Mobile MDA Pro ... soon as i like the MDA I,II,III i decided to try them MDA IV or MDA Pro for one week. On the first look i was amazed by functions. This MDA is not looking like an ordinary PDA - it is closer to the small laptop. Display is great and i was able to read web pages very comfortable because of high resolution. 2 cameras had no use for me while i take photos by photocamera and i dont use skype for camera that is inside. The keyboard is excellent - very comfortable and fast to write a message and seemed durable. The backlight is automated - when you are on the spot with worse visibility the keyboard backlight turns off and the keyboard is very well backlighted. After first a... T-Mobile MDA Compact III ... is an absolutely fantastic phone. I bought mine around 6 months ago, on contract from T-mobile. I think its the best pda / smartphone I have ever bought. It just so useful, I can check my emails on the fly, then read up on the news on the BBC website, then if I m lost I use the inbuilt GPS receiver along with copilot to guide me away. Its so good. I reccomend it highly, because of its features, value for money, battery life, size (alot smaller than any other smartphone, and its quite thin). Only 1 thing missing, and that would be wifi (there is a version with wifi now) and a better camera (1.3mp at the moment). Also, I think the camera would be better with flash,...
