So after reading some reviews on these products took the advice of one reviewer and purchased a Western Digital Passport with 320G of storage space which I believe is really good value for money at only £99. This external hard drive has enough space to hold upto 80,000 MP3 s or 200,000 photos so it is more than enough memory for me. What I believe is really clever about this device is that it doesn t need an additional power adaptor and the only supply that it needs is taken from the USB port on your computer. It has a great look to it with its illuminated orange band on one side that informs us if it is on or not and the sleek black case just fits anywhere. Now on the inside which is the important part the software it coes with is simple to install and simple to use. The hard drive has an amazing 500GB capacity with various sub folders already included which allows you to choose and arrange you files. As soon as you install it you get the option of backing up every file on the pc to it so it makes life much easier by just getting to the point. It looked appealing with a massive 500GBs and 5 year limited warrenty as standard. I thought it was great value for money. The dimensions are (WxDxH) 4 cm x 16.2 cm x 19 cm and it is 0.9kg in weight. This product is black in colour with a yellow strip of light which is constantly on, though it isn t too bright so i had no problems there.
