Western Digital Elements USB 2.0 drive WDE1U5000 500 GB ... ordered this item recently to save my audio and video files to from my laptop to keep them safe. It was ordered from amazon and their service was as always outstanding. The hard dive is a very simple to use USB plug and play system. It loads almost insantateously with the computer and allows quick drag and drop copying. The only down sides to this product are: 1. Actual space 465GB 2. Copying Files to it takes along time 3. The machine becomes very hot to the touch when copying files to it. 4. Does make some noise when copying, but in comparison to other models, this is normal. Iomega HDD External Hard Drive 40 GB ... is a great little piece of technology, and it has made my life on hell of a lot easier. For a start it is very easy to take around with you, and just fits into your pocket (a big pocket) or easliy into a small briefcase. Next is the size, which wasnt so good. It only has 40gb of storage and that wasnt really that impressive, so i got a different one. It cant hold too much information and if you use it a lot it is definatly not the right hard drive for you.
