Western Digital Elements Portable WDBAAR2500ABK 250 GB ... Digital (WD) has always been my preffered choice for external hard drives. I was initially attracted to them beause of the cheap prices, but its now years since I got my first one. They have never given me any problems, I would probably even pay more than other brands now as this is one I trust. My first was a big beast of a machine that weighed a lot and needed it s own ac adapter. This newer version is much much smaller and lighter, it is very portable. Western Digital Elements USB 2.0 drive WDE1U2500 250 GB ... thing is a big beast of a machine, it is heavy, bulky and requires an AC adaptor (provided). New versions are tiny in comparrison weighting almost nothing and they power off the computer via the USB socket. I purchased this machine 3 years ago so at the time I was very happy with it. After 3 years of regular use it still works fine and has never lost any files. I use it to store photos, music and films. I also store other bits and bobs like word documents and programs. As soon as it is connected to the computer it is ready to use so no technical know how is needed. Seagate External Desktop Drive 1 TB ... had bought this product a couple of months ago due to that my computer was running out of Hard Drive Space. Often you only found 250 - 500 GB Hard Drives for this rpice we saw it for. This is one of the cheapest and the best looking 1TB Hard Drives I have ever bought.
