Seagate External Desktop Drive 1 TB ... had bought this product a couple of months ago due to that my computer was running out of Hard Drive Space. Often you only found 250 - 500 GB Hard Drives for this rpice we saw it for. This is one of the cheapest and the best looking 1TB Hard Drives I have ever bought. Below I have split the review into different catagories and rated them /10 along with a comment. Noise: 10/10 This hard drive is so quite you can t acturlly tell its there. Western Digital My Passport Essential WDME5000 500 GB ... very first PC many years ago came with a 6GB hard drive, when I added a second 6GB hard drive (costing me about £100 - yes this wsa more than a few years ago), my friends were blown away by the huge amount of storage space I had. Coming from early home computers like the Acorn Electron, any internal storage space was a novelty and to have as much as I did was almost unheard of!! Over the years the cost of hard drive storage space has plummeted and now you can buy huge amounts of storage space for very little money. Freecom Toughdrive Custom 250 GB ... received this hard drive as a Christmas present and it worked perfectly. It is so small and I really like the way the USB tucks away. You can customise the picture on the hard drive, either with the supplied pictures, or with your own, which is nice. It worked quickly and efficiently, and I used this as my main file storage. It travelled with me a lot and got bashed and dropped a lot, and worked perfectly. However it got drenched in water on a very rainy camping trip (it was sat in a puddle of water in the tent!!) and after that it started to play up a bit and eventually after a few weeks it would only work now and then - thankfully I managed to get all my files of...
