Premium Review Buffalo Drivestation 500 GB: The Buffalo: Maximum kick at a bargain price! (279 words)

If you want reliable, fast data storage, look no further my friend. For the price of around 50 pound this thing will sort out all your data storage miseries. I got mine from curries a couple months back. My family needed one due to the lack of space we each have on our computers. I can tell you now I'm very impressed with the way it has performed, even after being dropped accidently several times, this baby just keeps on kicking. At this price, I would argue its one of the best value for money externals around. Its not too big, but not too small that it will fit in your pocket like a hdd passport. So if you need this for mobility I'd suggest you get something ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Expensive, but worth it (472 words)

I recently cashed in my Amazon vouchers for this, though at £70 it's not cheap and can be found much cheaper without looking very hard. Initially I was going to get the 1TB version, but some of the reviews put me off because they said the technology for them just isn't good enough at the moment. It might be worth risking to some as it's only £10 more, but I decided 500GB was enough for me. What's an external hard drive? Basically it's like a giant USB stick - just an extra box you can use to store your videos, games, pictures, documents etc. if you run out of space on your regular computer. Because I wanted to back up all my important files, I ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Buffalo Drivestation 500 GB: Solves the problem of storage space. (294 words)

I bought one of these last Sunday from CDiscount for £45 and it was delivered on Friday. My Dad had received one for his birthday and has used it to store music and photo's on. After learning this and realising that my home PC was running a little slow I decided to buy one to transfer all my downloaded music and photo's onto to try and organise and clear up my PC a little. This external hard drive is so easy to use. You basically just plug it in and start using it! It comes with an electrical plug so you have to have enough sockets coupled with everything else you have to plug in for a computer. You then connect the hard drive to you PC via a ...  Read the complete review

this hard drive is EPIC! buffalo have created an amazing hard drive for the money and space. lets start on the aesthetics, it looks decent with a curvatious top and bottom, there is a light down the middle of the drive which looks really good at night. The drive is also good because it makes almost no noise, theres a noise as the drive boots up but apart from that its completely silent. There is no on/off button the drive is very clever it witches off itself and vice versa. the reliability of this drive is the best i have experienced. i bought this drive five months ago and it hasnt crashed on me yet (touch wood) but its more reliable than western digital or seagate ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Buffalo Drivestation 500 GB: Does the job! (149 words)

I just bought one of these from Argos for around 53.79 quid and it is a great product. If you buy this from Argos you get a free 2 gb flash pen that will probably come handy some day. The reasons for why i think this product is very good is because it does exactly what it says AND it uses 75 percent less power than standard drivers which is really good if you pay high electric bills. The design of this product is nice and stylish, looks nice, neat and doesnt take up too much space. Another handy thing about this is that as soon as you plug it in it turns on, so there's no pressing any switches at the back. The only problems i have with this is that my computer takes a ...  Read the complete review
