Freecom Toughdrive Pro 120 GB ... originally got a Freecom Toughdrive at work to store all my documents on. I have had that one now for 2 years and not once has it failed me. It is very sturdy and as the name suggest is tough. I have dropped it a number of times and it has always worked fine. I can store so much on the toughdrive and still have plenty of room left for future work. It has a USB connector built in so it is easy to carry around and plug straight into a computer. I was so impressed with this hardrive that I got rid of the big external hardrive i had at home (one of the ones that needs to be plugged into the mains aswell) and bought another toughdrive. Maxtor Basics Portable 500 GB ... Maxtor Basics 500GB is probably the most reliable portable storage devices I have ever used. The device is made from hard plastic that has been proven to survive a number of drops of the desk and manage to still work with out an issue. This is important in our family as we have children that get into everything. The device is attractive with a blue that that flashes when the device is transferring data.
