	Seagate FreeAgent Pro 500 GB ... picked up two of these, very cheaply I think at just over £90 each from BT Shop. They are the same price at Dabs, as they are the same company. The hard drive comes nicely packaged and has the cables supplied in the box too, so ready to go. Situating the drive on my desk was very easy. The built in stand provides a very stable base. It also looks better than most hard drives, with a lovely black finish, and orange accents. You can connect this drive via eSATA, USB 2, or my choice Firewire 400. This provided me the fastest connection to my Mac. I then joined the two drives together via another Firewire cable and set them up as a Mirrored Raid. You do not need to do this... 	Western Digital Elements USB 2.0 drive WDE1U2500 250 GB ... bought this hard drive from Amazon, i can t remember the price but it was a very good price for the size of the disk. I had been looking for an external hard drive for a while so i could back up my files and found this. It comes all complete with power adaptor, rubber pads, i can t actually remember if it came with a USB cable though, but they are easy enough to get. Its just plug and play so very easy to set up. There is a power switch on the back on the unit so you can turn it off when not in use, you will need this as it can be a bit noisy when turned on with the fan running. 	Seagate Pushbutton Backup External Hard Drive 500 GB ... you read all of my reviews, I claim to own lots of different hard drives. Well, because of what I do for a job, it is essential for me to store and more importantly backup data on a regular basis. I also tend to buy different brand drives, to avoid buying into a bad batch. I purchased this Seagate Pushbutton hard drive when they were discontinuing them, paying £79 from Ebuyer. It arrived quickly and was very easy to set up, out of the box and running in under five minutes. Let s get the bad bits out of the way first. The outer casing is plastic.
