Advantages: Huge storage, quiet and plug & play

This is a fantastic storage solution for everybody and anybody!. Running very quietly, needing only a spare USB port and a plug outlet, this item has been in constant use in my study-so much so that I recommended it for work as well. You do not need any special software to run it-drivers are included on a CD but it's really a simple plug and play device. There is a power button on the back and a blue light shows on the front panel when active. Transfer goes at the usual standard rate.

500 GB is usually ample for home use and you should be able to pick it up for a fairly good price (check out some price comparison sites for the best deal) as, like all storage solutions the price is continuously going down.

I purchased this at novatech, where it cost £89. I picked it up personally so didn't have to pay for delivery. This was over 6 months ago-I have just checked on their website and it is down to £58.74, so an even better bargain. Cheers to Nar2 for suggesting that I add this in :-)

In summary, this is a very good product and highly recommended. Quiet, efficient and easy to use, it's a perfect solution for external storeage!
