This Hitachi Deskstar 500GB Sata Hard Disk Drive is a great hard disk drive for all types of PC user. The Sata connection gives this drive fast connection speed allowing it to display its abilities to the fullest. I have found this drive to be reliable and stable when working. It is very fast especially via Sata and is very quiet in operation. It's a pleasure to use this drive when upgrading from an older drive or even as extra storage space for media or documents. This drive in my opinion is suitable for a media centre PC. Hitachi provide a 3 year warranty also if there are any difficulties. A large hard disk is a great thing to have and this drive has fulfilled my requirements competently. I haven't had any problems with this drive to date and I'm glad it's a part of the PC I own. Hitachi's latest hard disk drives are certainly hitting the right notes.
