Not only does Retrospect Express provide fast backups, but it is also easy for all to use and offers protection in the form of data encryption. Version 7.6 (available as a free upgrade) of EMC Retrospect integrates EMC Mozy, an online backup package which includes 2GB of free on-line storage space. Users now have the choice of backing their data up to their Firestorm hard drive, or backing up online to EMC's safe and secure datacenter. In the event of a catastrophic failure users can easily restore their data to any computer, from anywhere, over the internet without having to install any extra software or make any configuration changes.
