Before I begin this review I would like to point out that I am not an overly 'techy' person. This is no bad thing because this portable hard-drive is so user friendly, you are unlikely to encounter any problems with it.
This device does everything it says on the box. It provides easy storage for all your computer files, including photos, movies and mp3's. With an impressive 250gb of space it is easily big enough to back up your computers hard drive.
I have been using mine for about 3 months and have no complaints what so ever. I have not experienced corruption of any files that I have stored on the device. Its sleek black design means that it is attractive as well as functional.

The portable hard-drive connects to your pc or laptop via an easy plug and play USB connection.

Transferring data onto the device can be a little slow, typically I found that it took about 8 minutes per GB when transferring MP3 files. It also tends to get quite warm if you leave it plugged in for a long time. Despite this I believe that this portable hard drive is fantastic value for money, and I would not hesitate to recommend it.

As PC and laptop specs continue to improve, most new computers will have a hard drive that dwarfs this device. However, if like me your laptop is 1-2 years old the Iomega Portable Hard-Drive can provide safe and much needed storage space for your files.
