Iomega Portable Hard Drive Black Series 250 GB ... connects to your pc or laptop via an easy plug and play USB connection. Transferring data onto the device can be a little slow, typically I found that it took about 8 minutes per GB when transferring MP3 files. It also tends to get quite warm if you leave it plugged in for a long time. Despite this I believe that this portable hard drive is fantastic value for money, and I would not hesitate to recommend it. As PC and laptop specs continue to improve, most new computers will have a hard drive that dwarfs this device. However, if like me your laptop is 1-2 years old the Iomega Portable Hard-Drive can provide safe and much needed storage space for your files.... Iomega Professional Hard Drive 1 TB ... completely filled my 80gb hard drive I decided to buy a big hard drive that would last my long time with lots of storage for all my files. The Iomega is good value from Tesco (under £70 before vouchers), as you get a 1TB sata hard drive (which I now use in my computer) and an external enclosure (where I put my old hard drive inside, in place of the 1TB drive). I have been using the 1TB hard drive everyday now for a few months, without any problems at all. The drive seems quick to access (7200rpm according to Tesco website). The drive seems quiet to run, and I can t tell its running when my computer is on. Only 931GB are shown in windows (due to 1000kb not 1024kb... Iomega HDD External Desktop Hard Drive 320 GB ... was looking for a external hard drive that could store all my photos and music and also any other documents. Basically I was looking for the cheapest hard drive with the biggest capacity and the Iomega seemed to fit all my needs At 320GB it was all I needed and I bought it for a reasonable price and so I snatched it up and I havent been dissapointed to far. The device comes with a bracket that allows you to have it upright which saves space on my desk and makes it look a bit tidier. I havent had any problems with performance and the processing is very quick. The device does come with some down points, mainly its a bit bulky compared to some on the external harddrives...
