I will be honest: the main reason I bought this hard drive (over any other external hard drive) was because it looks like a Lego brick. What a fantastic idea! The whole LaCie range has been well designed appearance-wise - there's a very sleek black one out recently that I'm currently coverting - and this is no exception. But enough about what it looks like. I find it fairly fast to transfer images from and to, although I use it mainly for backup so I'm not using it all the time.
