Lacie Hard Disk 1 TB

I purchased the LaCie 1TB as my first external hard drive, about 6 months ago. I wasn't sure how much space I would be needing, but as the LaCie was on offer for £75 for 1TB I couldn't really resist. The promotional literature for this Hard disk seems to keep reminding us that it was designed by Neil Poulton, someone who I'm not aware of, but must be pretty good judging by the design of this product. I have several Lacie external hard-disks attached to my Apple Mac computers and have mostly found them to be reliable, quiet and fast, until a few weeks ago when one of them (a 500GB Porsche designed one which I purchased about 18 months ago) failed. I needed a replacement and after quite a lot of research decided to risk buying a Lacie again. Lacie have done it again, another beautifully simple yet brilliantly functional external hard drive. A gigantic 1 tb of space for all your most important documents. Lets be honest when it comes to your work then it's crucial that a reliable piece of hardware keeps it from being destroyed. I chose this particular hard drive for two reasons, one is the stylish slick black finish with the blue strip light underneath.
