The xbox 360 hard drive is essential for any xbox gamer, the great thing about the hard drive is it has a large storage capacity for saving your games, your gamer profiles, and downloading things from xbox live.
The hard drive is available with the xbox 360 premium consoles but does not come with the arcade console.
A hard drive is needed if your going to be playing on xbox live, the hard drive will store all of the things you download such as demos, map packs, add ons for games, saving your friends list and updating your profile. You can also download arcade games to your profile.
The great thing about the hard drive is it can be removed from the xbox if you wanted to take your saved games to your mates house, though you can download your profile as well onto your mates xbox if you have an xbox live account.
The xbox hard drive is available for around £29.99 for the 20gb which is very good if your getting an xbox arcade console. I have had no problems with the xbox hard drive and would highly recommend it.
