Seagate FreeAgent Desk 1.5 TB

My wife is a voracious consumer of disk space, filling sector after sector with large RAW digital photographs and Photoshop files. We have a 400 GB external drive and her laptop computer has a 250 GB drive built-in, but she's always banging up against storage limits. The latest interim solution was to get her a Seagate FreeAgent 1.5 TB drive, which is equivalent to 1,500 GB. I paid US$110 for it at a Costco store, which has the most amazing bargains if you're patient. I would like to start by stating that I have been the owner of this product for less than six months and can therefore be no judge on long term efficiency. However in the time I have had it, it has been brilliant. As soon as I plugged it in to my computer a very helpful manager program appeared without the use of a CD which made it very simple to either transfer all my files or select certain ones I wished to back up. I also use the hard drive as a way of transferring large amounts of data between computers and this machine has been able to cope with being moved and rearranged many times.
