I got this for a Christmas present and boy was I pleased. It beats getting socks from grandma. Ok, so what do we have, a standard portable hard drive. Apart from this one is super cool, the design is excellent as are the lights on the back when you turn it on. They come on a cool white. The drive itself is very quiet and stays pretty cool, it never gets hot which is good in not taking away from the hard drives length of life. I have been used it a lot to back up photos and movies and cannot fault it. The transfer rates are very fast and it doesn't take long to transfer over a few GB. To the average user ... My boyfriend has appeared with one of these hard drives that he was supposed to get for christmas but bought himself. It cost him £70 and he bought it from currys in bristol centre. The style of the harddrive is quite important because that's all we really see and this, as far as these things go, is quite attractive. The usb to connect to the computer has a nice rounded grip which adds something to the overall look. The logo of free agent is quite nice i think, a kind of swirl in silver on the black.
