I got this for a Christmas present and boy was I pleased. It beats getting socks from grandma.

Ok, so what do we have, a standard portable hard drive.

Apart from this one is super cool, the design is excellent as are the lights on the back when you turn it on. They come on a cool white.

The drive itself is very quiet and stays pretty cool, it never gets hot which is good in not taking away from the hard drives length of life.

I have been used it a lot to back up photos and movies and cannot fault it.

The transfer rates are very fast and it doesn't take long to transfer over a few GB.

To the average user they wouldn't ever fill up the drives storage limits, I've been using it in conjunction with a Wester Digital Media Player and have had no problems at all. It is ove 200GB full of media including lots of my own music and photos which I view/listen to on the TV.

It uses a micro USB which can plug into either USB 1.1 or 2.0. XP and Vista are the machines I have used it on and both worked perfectly.

The drive was actually so impressive that my father bought one for himself after he had seen how pleased I was with mine 5 months on.

5 stars, and a bargain for the price they are going for now.

Summary: Perfect companion for a traveller or someone who doesn't want a desktop storage unit.
