Seagate FreeAgent Desktop 320 GB ... this is a great looking drive. What a great look for any external interface! First of all I would like to point out the obvious. This is a free standing hard-drive, which although not un-heard of, is not the norm. However this feature allows for the unit to stand in a smaller area than the usual flat-bed style, allowing more space around and easier to store. The 320gb is a actually a little less, about 314gb, but this isn t actually very bad in regards to the usual loss. The hard-drive is very well made, a good solid plastic casing and a robust stand allow for the usual wear and tear without worry about the drive being damaged. Seagate Barracuda ATA V 60 GB ... It replaced a faulty IBM one, which itself was replacing a faulty Maxtor one. They both lasted a few weeks, this has lasted 7 years so far. If you are looking to buy one of these I can recommend them, even second hand I wouldn t expect anything to be wrong with one of these. They can take a beating. SEAGATE "SEAL": The first thing I noticed about it when I originally got it was the Seagate Seal. This is a large "sticker" that covers the electronics on the underside of the hard drive.
