V-XS-DRIVE2 ensures that digital camera users are free to take as many images as they like, without the need to transfer images from the camera directly to a laptop when the chip card becomes full. It uses 2.5" hard drive technology, which makes it, compact enough to be easily carried about one's person, and eliminates the need to take a laptop out into the field.

V-XS-DRIVE2 has all the power of a standard PC drive in a palm-size device (13 x 7.5 x 2.5cm), and weighs just 300gms. That makes it small and light enough to carry in a jacket pocket, and its two re-chargeable 720mA Lithium-ion batteries provide up to 1.6 hours usage between charges. V-XS-DRIVE2 is easy to use with only two buttons on its control panel, one for power on and the other to transfer data from memory cards to the V-XS-DRIVE2 hard drive.

The XS-Drive2 works with all current memory cards used with digital cameras: Compactflash, IBM Microdrive, SmartMedia, Memory Stick (Sony and LexarMedia), Memory Stick Pro, Secure Digital, and MultiMediaCard.

The XS-Drive2 has a built-in rechargeable Lithium-ion battery which allows 1.6 hours of usage on full charge.
