Western Digital Elements Portable WDE1MS2500 250 GB

Having recently bought a playstation 3, I was looking for a hard drive which I could connect to the console and play music files and movie files. I decided upon this one but having never owned an external hard drive, I really did not know what to expect. However having now owned this for a few months, I can really see the benefits of owning one. Firstly this is a very light hard drive and compact, so compact and light that you can transport round in your pocket. Western Digital have a good reputation for their hard disk drives. When I bought this drive two years ago, my colleagues acknowledged that I'd bought a good drive at a bargain price (at that time). What's the drive like? Well, I have no complaints. It is straightforward to set up, with 1 x power supply/cable and 1 x USB cable to plug in, and that's it! Installation on the PC is without any problems. One interesting point is that in Windows Explorer, the drive has it's own WD Elements logo - so you can't confuse it with any other external storage devices that you might have attached.
