I recently purchased this massive 1TB drive to act as a backup solution for all my music, photo's and video's etc... More than enough for most needs. This drive is pre-formatted with the Mac OSX File system so no need to re-format if you are a Mac user (Me). It works great with the Mac's wonderful Time Machine software, backing up my files every hour! It all works quietly in the background and doesn't appear to affect system performance at all.
