I bought this hard drive about three years ago and it is still going strong (oops I've done it now!). At the time, it was the fastest hard drive on the market. Things have moved on since then, but the raptor is still one of the fastest hard drives around. I've used this drive with both Windows XP and, more recently, with Windows Vista. It's performed excellently with both operating systems (with a couple of provisos, see below). The key to the drive's performance is its rotation speed.
