JVC HA-F240-VN-E ... headphones don t have a great reputation, so I wasn t surprised when mine started to cut out in one ear 18 months after I bought my nano. I chose the JVC HA-F240-VN-E (also known as Gumy Air) stereo headphones as a replacement for the very important reason that they were available in purple to match my ipod. I didn t compare prices or performance, I didn t read any reviews (shame on me!), I just wanted pretty purple headphones to match my nano, so that s what I went for. They come in clear plastic packaging, not the irritating kind that s sealed all the way around and has to be cut open, it s only sealed at the top and can be pulled apart. There s no leaflet inclu... Skullcandy Smokin Buds ... ve been using Skullcandy Smokin Buds headphones for a few months now and they do take a while to get used to. It feels like you re wearing ear plugs as they go right into the ear, rather than sitting just inside the ear like normal headphones. Before I bought the Smokin Buds I was using the standard iPhone headphones and when walking fast, they seemed to fall out of my ear quite a lot. I don t have that problem with these headphones though. The sound quality from these headphones is superb. Sennheiser CX 300-II Precision ... Sennheiser CX 300-II Precision headphones make a great cheap alternative that work great for most genres of music. I got these from Play.com for only £15 as a cheap alternative to the Apple headphones and they have surpassed all my expectations. The CX 300s come in an Eco friendly recycled cardboard box with minimal packaging. The headphones themselves are nicely designed with interchangeable earbuds to make sure you get the perfect fit and a good length cable. They are the sort of headphones that fit into your ear canal so it does take some fiddling to get them to say in.
