Angle and Curve Classic Headphones - Chrome
by GEMYOO I was looking to buy my son his first mobile phone for his birthday in December last year and decided on a great package from Orange. I think it cost me around £60 and I got the phone, a piggy bank and these fab looking Angle and Curve Headphones. - all packaged in a big black oblong box...super stylish. I was very impressed, as was my ... son. I had done a bit of research on Angle and Curve and belived them to be a really reputable company so was surprised that these headphones were offered as part of the deal and to be honest it was a bit of a deal breaker. The headphones look great, really shiny, stylish and modern. I thought that big headphones would look silly on, but they didn't, my son looked liked a proper cool dude although he was reluctant to wear them outside the house and then got a couple of pairs of smaller headphones with Christmas money, so over time, they ended up in the posession of me and my hubby. I use these all the time to watch catch up TV through my laptop and also listen to music. I have strange piercings in my ears and so am usually unable to wear the normal in-the-ear headphones so these have proven invaluable for me. The quality seems really good, the cushined ear-pad on one ear has come loose a couple of times but its still hanging on in there 9 months in and so I think this is pretty good going, especially as we do use these probably 5 days out of 7. Another great thing about these is that they are adjustable and comfortably fit everyone in our house, from my 6 year old to my big burly hubby. The audio levels are great through these and I find that you can clearly hear all different types of audio from big blockbuster films with explosions and screaming, to conversations in soap operas, the loud instrumental rock music and soft tones of artsits like Paloma Faith...all sound great and really clear. My husband uses these to watch the football and has never had any complaints. You can wear these completely over your ears and by doing so you will drown out most of the normal day-to-day noise, such as conversations, traffic etc or like me if you find these quite unsettling, you can wear them loosely so you can still hear if you are being shouted. Would definetly recommend them, especially if they are coming as part of a bigger package. I believe that they retail at around £25 which for Angle and Curve, is a very low price so I think they are well worth it. may also appear on ciao Read the complete review |

by Geosmi At first when I ordered these headphones I was skeptical, what I saw was a pair of headphones for a reasonable price, which promised the same quality and performance as the higher end products associated with more established audiophiles. I was quick to order though as the styling and performance of the product really did promise to meet ... my requirements. I can say that I am not dissapointed in the headphones in many ways. The sound quality is superb on a range of different MP3 audio tracks, when used in combination with my iPhone. They can play the deep bass of certain dance tracks and the highly acute notes and chords of a a rock anthem. I've never had an issue with being able to hear the headphones, even when out and about or on the bus or train, as they have always been loud enough to hear sufficiently, without leaking too much sound. The only slight issue is the wear of the plastic around the headphone jack, it could lead to problems in the future but for now it is still working fine. These stylish silver headphones would be a welcome addition to any entertainment geek's gadget selection, as they are well priced, good value and ultimately a useful product. by RTripleNine I purchased these headphones a while back, seeing them available at just £25 (I have seen retailers charging up to £60). I figured that because they were pricy for headphones, that they must be good and I had found myself a bargain. How wrong I was. There really isn't much to say about these headphones other than that they ... look pretty. The sound is OK, but it's certainly nothing special. I've had earphones that cost me less than half what I paid for these give me just as good sound. I tested these with a different range of music types, and they worked best with things like Dubstep and Drum and Bass. The sort of things that I do not listen to, unfortunately. So if your musical range is beyond these 2 genres, you should probably consider looking elsewhere. Of course, if you want to look stylish while you listen to your music, then by all means go for these. When it comes to cancelling out noise however, they are fantastic. There is a notable difference when comparing these to products that do not cancel out noise very well, and this can enhance your listening experience. In conclusion, they're probably not worth your time unless you want to look fashionable. Read the complete review |
