Shure SE110:
... have owned two pairs of Shure headphones now and would never look anywhere else. The reason for replacing my original Shure headphones was due to the fact I lost one of the rubber parts and realised that a new set of headphones was more cost effective than hunting out a part. For all iPod owners, throw away those horrible tinny white headphones! Pick up a pair of Shure SE110 headphones and you will never look bac... Shure E2g ... pair of earbuds i ve ever owned. Previous to these types of headphones (this is my second set - lead got damaged, come back to that later) i owned some sony fonotopia earbuds, which while they were very bassy the midrange lacked, and the treble was a little tinny. These sures remind my of my old (OLD!) Yamaha electrostatic headphones, except they dont weigh 3lbs each side. The bass, while prominent, isn t overwhelming (a problem i had with the sony s), the midrange is clear and defined, and the treble is controlled but not such that it s quiet, just not tsst tsst tsst like whenever you listen to regular headphones. Looks wise i probably prefer old ones, which w... Read the full review: Brilliant earbud type headphones by misfit2009 |

Shure SE210 ... bought a pair of these earphones because I wanted some that didn t rattle around in my ears. I found that the Sony/Sennheiser kind that have a rubber sleeve covering the speaker tend to transmit noise of anything that touches the cables. Whereas, the expanding foam buds of these Shure SE210s provide a sort of sound pillow that stops that kind of irritation. The sound clarity is very good but you do need to play around with the different sizes of foam tips to get the one that suits your ear canals perfectly. When you try it you ll know because whatever you re playing with sound so much clearer. I m not a sound buff (I can t tell the difference between a CD and vinyl!)... Shure E2c ... bought these headphones a year ago now to replace a set of Etymotic ER6s that broke. My first impressions were that the build quality on these canalphones was much superior- with more heavy-duty wiring than the flimsy wiring of the Etymotics that lead to one headphone breaking. In use they are great- although as with all canalphones there is a learning curve present in actually fitting them to your ears. They come with an array of differently sized ear-pieces so that you can be assured of the best fit. Be warned that the foam pieces will soak up your ear-wax- leading to complaints from those who ask to borrow them! The sound quality from my set is great, and the isola...
