Creative EP-210
by JoelM
I had been through pair after pair of headphones whether it be out and about, at college, at home or at the gym. Wherever I'd seem to break them at first it was because I was not treating them well. But I soon realized many were just poor quality.
Never really sought a solution just kept wasting money, so one day ... unsurprisingly my headphones had broken and I wanted to go to the gym and listen to my own music so I borrowed my brothers headphones. They were completely fine at the gym and he let me keep them (he had had them for 1 year) I managed to keep them going while working out for around 8 months. Believe it or not this was the longest I'd ever kept a pair, I was chuffed.
So once these had bit the dust I went straight onto Amazon and looked for the exact one I found them but to my surprise £6.99! I was so surprised and had to double check but no these were the same durable headphones. Ordered a pair and I still use them to this day. Have since got a separate pair for the gym. These headphones have saved me a lot of money and time.
These are in-ear headphones I've personally never liked the over ear ones, never saw the attraction. They look pretty standard with the color and shape, has the creative logo on the side and the letter for which ear they are for, not much creativity went into how they look but for me this is not a matter. They can fit into any device with the standard audio jack, used on MP3 players, iPods, iPhones etc. The wires themselves also seem durable. The only bad points I can think of is that they do not cancel out noise around you and can be heard easily by those around you. But really for that price and how durable they are that's a minor problem, if considered to be a problem.
All in all I would recommend these headphones for anyone that needs cheap, durable and good quality headphones. The price to me is simply amazing. Can't praise it enough. If music is what you need let these headphones deliver it to you. Read the complete review |

Sony MDR EX33LPL

I'm not sure how I ever coped with the normal default headphones for my ipod shuffle anymore. I use these on the tube and they cancel out all background noise meaning that I don't need to have the volume very loud to be able to hear my music. They also contain the sound very well so others don't have to listen to your ... music.
The headphones come with three different sized buds to suit your ear size, I found the smallest worked best for me and they fit very snugly in my ear. The chord is of a standard length expected for headphones. They look quite cool once they are fitted in the ear as well, no corny logo or anything like that. I would say that the build quality is fairly standard and what you would expect from Sony, the wiring is still a little fragile near the headphone bud, but this seems to be the case with all headphones.
I mostly listen to metal and heavy rock and these headphones carry the sound very well, crisp guitar sounds and thudding bass drums. In-ear headphones are generally very poor for this type of music so I was pleasantly surprised. Highly recommended and very grateful that I purchased these, a bargain too. Read the complete review |

Sony MDR ZX300

It was my birthday recently and one of the presents I received was a pair of these headphones from my partner. She bought them from Amazon and I have sneakily looked at the account for a price for this review and it was £10.19 including delivery. A massive bargin.
When it arrived it came in a hard plastic wrapper that you ... could see the headphones through, and was easy to open. The headphones have a long cable which is great as I can keep my iphone in my bag zipped away saftely and still have plenty of room to move my head around whilst listening to music. I have the white version, and the cable is also white, they are very stylish looking even whilst around my neck.
I use them not only to listen to my music but also to practice my piano. I have a separate jack in my piano and the end of the cable has a small jack that plugs into the end of that. Its able to handle the lowest and highest notes well without piercing my ears, as good as the speakers on the actual piano. Its also meant that I can practice late at night without any noise escaping from my ears or the piano.
When listening to music like house with a lot of bass in it you get a great stereo experience. I never have my earphones up so loud I cant hear what else is going on, and I have very sensitive hearing, but it still provides a great listening experience.
I have used complete noise cancelling headphones before but dont feel safe using these in public as its a very surreal experience, these are great as I can still hear the background noise of life around me if I want to, and people around me arent bothered by the noise in my ears.
They are light to carry and wear around your neck when not listening to them. They have the sony logo on each ear and dont look cheap at all.
I would say that if you are on a budget and hate in ear phones then try these as they are a great named brand, have amazing sound quality and are really comfortable to wear. They have an adjustable feature near the ears and have a padded layer on the ears, although the rest of the over the head part is hard. They are comfortable and fit perfectly on my head, without falling off, even when running.
They also arrived very quickly in a few days, without having to pay extra for the privilege apparently! Read the complete review |
