The Philips cordless headphones are a good choice look pretty stylish and are comfortable to wear. AKG Hearo 999 Audiosphere ... Solid construction Choice of two different types of ear pads. Good quality surround sound. No drop outs within 30 of the transmitter. Cons Battery life is terrible.I get only 2-3 hours with good quality fresh fully charged 1200MA AAA NIMH batteries with the volume set at about 50-60%. Annoying beep when there is no sound being sent to the receiver. The beep is useless and wastes more power than if they would stay silent,when no signal is present, like normal headphones. Distance is ok , but should be better.I d say when you re more than 30 away from the transmitter you start to lose signal especially if you re moving around. In conclusion, these headphones ... Sennheiser RS 120 ... got these to replace my Infa Red Philips HC 200 (cheap) as i wanted to be able to walk around my house with them on and still be able to hear everything clearly. I ve had them about 2 and half years now and they re still going pretty strong still holds a good charge and both speakers still work. The sound quality out of them is pretty good, not up there with my in ear headphones for my mp3 player which give very good bass response, but there good enough that i ve kept on using them, they re also very comfortable. They ve got big squishy bits on the ear muffs and they don t grip too tight, i can wear them for a good 3-4 hours at a time without them getting uncomfortabl...
