Sennheiser RS 140:
... so he uses headphones to watch TV. So only reviewing them for this purpose. Anyway, he wanted some new wireless ones for his birthday (previously having some Philips SBCHC8850). The Sennheiser RS 140 Headphones are closed back - which basically means you can t hear any outside noise; and other people can t much (if any) noise coming from the headphones. This was the main reason we chose this model. Very we... Read the full review: Sennheiser RS 140 for watching TV and movies! by philbaker |

Philips SBC HC8580 ... Philips SBC HC8585 Wireless headphones are very good, they are very comfortable for wearing for long periods of time. They have a great range and rarely lose signal even from walking from upstairs to downstairs. They are quite big which can be a benefit if you are prone to losing headphones. The headphones also have multiple channels which allow you to change between devices if you get a splitter. It also has a some settings on the device which allows you to change between treble or bass. Another fault that i have found with the headphones is the base unit, it can become rather annoying to move it around the house and connect it to other productsthe headphones could... Turtle Beach Ear Force X4 ... Turtle Beach X1 s finally broke after a very long time and I ve been waiting for an excuse to upgrade so went straight to the newest in their series; the X4 s. I was actually thinking about picking up some Astro A40 s as there s a lot of online games coming out but they were too expensive especially after you add the cost of shipping from the US. You can get them cheaper than on Amazon if you look around stores and on eBay. I got mine for £75 as my friend works at PC World which was handy. Although £75 on a headset does seem a little too much to some, they re not just for gaming and the second reason I bought them was for watching Blu-Rays at night. They have Dolby 5.... Philips SHC2000 ... bought these use to with both my new tv and hi fi systems. As all my other home entertainment products are Philips and I have been pleased with them I opted to stick with the same manufacturer. At first, when used with my hi-fi, I was really impressed, the headphones are very comfortable and block out exterior sounds. The infa red transmitter works reasonably well, however if you are moving round the room the sound quality can diminish. It was only when I had my tv on at the same time that i experienced real problems. I dont know if its because my tv is a plasma, but when ever the picture changes on the tv screen it caused loud interferance in the headphones. Ive looke...
