AKG K 14 P:
... I had these AKG K 14 P s I had the AKG K 12 P s for one year and a half or something. They even survived different MP3-Players. When they got broken beacause of the typical breakdown of one earphone I wanted to exchange them, because AKG is always advertising for the two years guarantee of their earphones. But they said that hat happened to the earphones is not included in the guarantee. Always the same with t... Read the full review: These earphones attend me everywhere by Benjoman |

AKG Hearo 999 Audiosphere ... go with something different, but like I said there aren t many alternatives. The Dolby Digital wireless headphone market is really weak. These things originally went for $1200,which is just insane.Today most places are selling them for between $700-$800.I was lucky to find a place that was offering them for $450 shipped, but I still think I paid too much for them. I wish I could test out the newer AKG Hearo 787 Surround headphones, but for some reason they are not available for purchase here in the US.This is really disappointing because the only other quality digital wireless headphones available here, either use the 2.4ghz band (why use the same band as most wireless netw... AKG K 105 UHF ... time had come to buy myself some headphones, not for me, but for the people around me, they need to sleep. So i did my usual, looked through What Hifi recommendeds and found the AKG K 105 UHF, 5 stars, best cordless they've heard, these are going to be belter. So off to Richer Sounds i went with £60 in my hands, paid, got them home, opened the box set them up, and thats where the fun ended. It took around 6-8 hours to charge, which is fair enough, so i finally got my chance to try them out. After about 2 hours of repositioning the box, my head, the slider on the side i still couldn't get a clear reception, not even a half good one. I looked at the ... AKG K 105 UHF ... live in a flat, so I can't really listen to very loud music too much... ...so, I thought I'd splash out on a reasonable set of headphones. These AKG's got an excellent score in What HiFi and they sounded extremely convenient what with being wireless. So, bought them, opened up the box, and thought "Yes, this is a high quality product." These headphones have all the nice little touches that you could ever wish for - automatic charger, batteries included (rechargable ones), all leads etc, etc, etc. So, go home, put on some loud music and walk around the flat. Great, till the music gets quieter. Then the background hum/static is clearly audible... Read the full review: bad sound quality by project944 |
