Angle and Curve Classic Headphones - Chrome
Advantages: Good sound quality and the noise isolation isn't bad either.
Disadvantages: Slightly poor build quality.
Angle and Curve make some really high quality head phones. They also make these, there not bad by any means but these are the cheapest ones they sell of this type, and its easy to see why...
First of all they look stunning, a bit flashy but very angular, modern and sturdy looking. However although they look great there not nearly as sturdy as they look, the cushion pads have come loose on both sides and you generally get the feeling they were made as cheap as possible, which isnt the ethos you'd expect from a company with a reputation to consider...the reason for this I believe is because most of the sales of this product were through orange, as part of the free gift box they again offered last year. Basically orange use Angle and Curve's brand power to boost its share of the lucrative Christmas market whilst in return they purchase a vast amount of headphones that are in fact relatively cheap to produce.
That said the sound quality is still very good, more than adequate for your everyday iPod speakers, delivering deep bass and crisp audio at all frequencies within the ranges stated in the spec. There nice and snug on your ears and I'm sure they'll will fit all head sizes thanks to the flexible head band. They don't claim to have any noise isolation properties however they do offer significant reduction in background noise if snug to your ear, even at less than half volume you cant hear people talking next to you.
All in all I'd say these are decent headphones, and to get these free with a £30 phone really is a good deal. No there not quite what you'd expect from Angle and Curve but they don't cost nearly as much either, going for as little as £20 on eBay new.
Summary: Nothing special but still pretty good, worth the money for sure.
