I've never been able to use the standard headphones which come with iPods, they're just not comfortable and don't fit in my ear properly. I purchased a pair of the in-ear headphones a couple of years ago. They come in a handy little box with a few different sizes of the rubber ear pieces. I find the headphones very durable; I had my first pair for over a year until I lost them, they were still working well after frequent usage. I recently purchased my second pair of iPod in ear headphones to replace my previous Phillips headphones which broke after a few months. As normal headphones do not fit in my ear as myear canals are very small i found these to be the perfect solution. They are quite costly and as the wire is no different to other headphones they break really easily so they arenot cost effective. Sound wise they are really helpful as they have 3 sizes of plug that come with the headphones meaning you can fit them to suit your own ear (i needed the smallest!) They fit well although some people say they are slightly uncomfortable andfeel wierd although i have never experienced this problem. I purchased these to replace the ones that arrived with my ipod and for £25 its fair to say i was expecting big things from theses earphones,sadly they did not deliver,although they are better than the stock ones you get....just. The earphones arrive in a nice little box and inside you get 3 different ear bud attachments,dependent upon the size of your inner ear,which is great because this helps block out,outer sound and improves the quality of music.This for me was the only thing these earphones did well that the stock ones didnt do.
