Advantages: Good quiality, good sound quiality
Disadvantages: None that i can think of
I've never been able to use the standard headphones which come with iPods, they're just not comfortable and don't fit in my ear properly.
I purchased a pair of the in-ear headphones a couple of years ago. They come in a handy little box with a few different sizes of the rubber ear pieces.
I find the headphones very durable; I had my first pair for over a year until I lost them, they were still working well after frequent usage.
I recently purchased my second pair of iPod in ear headphones to replace my previous Phillips headphones which broke after a few months.
I'm no headphone expert but I'm happy with the sound quality these headphones provide.
I like the design of the headphones; they look sleek unlike some other in ears on the market. The wire is quite firm which seems to prevent it tangling too much, there's nothing worse than having to unknot your headphones before every use!
When they're in your ear they feel very comfortable and they block out a lot of background noise. Unlike other headphones they dont create a lot of noise outside the headphones which makes the useful when using them in a public place.
Summary: Good pair of headphones for the average iPod user.
