Advantages: I guess that they come free with ipods...

Disadvantages: Break easily, not great sounding

I seem to have developed a passionate hatred for the iPod headphones, and I'm not really sure why. They come included with all iPods and seem to have become the most popular simply due to the fact that people want to be seen wearing the iPod headphones! Thats probably my biggest gripe with them, they are simply a fashion accessory. They have an acceptably decent sound, its not great but its not exactly poor either, with regard to comfort, again they are kind of in the middle, not uncomforable exactly, but not the best, and they do fall out easily. The biggest problem by far is the fact that they break really easily, the ones that came with my iPod didnt even last a month before one ear stopped working altogether..then they just come apart! My advice is to spend an extra £10 and buy some Sennheiser CX300s, which are excellant earphones for the price and much better than these iPod ones. If your really serious go for some Shure ones, but the Sennheiser earphones are brilliant. I mean why would you spend £200 on an ipod and then listen with poor earphones like these, I would want to get the best sound I could afford. I guess though, if your one of these people that go round with one earphone in all the time, and you just want to follow the trend, then these will probably do fine!

Summary: I would definetly upgrade asap if I got these with an iPod!
