Advantages: Good Design, Modern, Quite Comfortable, Not Bad Sound

Disadvantages: Sound Lacks Loudness, Break Easily, Unreliable, Expensive From Apple

I have had Apple iPod Earphones twice and I must say that the newest ones are greatly improved from the older ones, but they are still not very quality and mine broke weeks after use unfortunately. They come with all new iPods but they can be purchased separately for just £6.80 on amazon.co.uk.

They are white and the wire is of a perfect length so your iPod or MP3 player can sit on your lap whilst you're sitting down on a journey to listen to music. It's not too short so you don't need to balance your MP3 player in mid-air and it's not so long that it gets tangled between everything. I'm sure it's good for tall people too and not a problem for shorter ones.

The earphones plug into your iPod or MP3 player via the audio output. The bit that goes in is white and coated by rubber, but it's not very strong as this is what broke with my earphones when I pulled it out of a laptop, which happened to a friend of mine too, so be careful!

The bit where your earphones split into the two earpieces has a slider, which goes up and down to hold the earphones together or let them split apart. The actual earphones have a grey rubber bit leading up to the white plastic earpiece. The earpiece has a very smooth design and they fit in your ear very comfortably. They don't fall out that easily but are a tiny bit chunky.

The sound quality isn't brilliant but it's good enough. They are quiet compared to good in-ear earphones, which means you can't enjoy your music to its full potential. However, they have pretty good bass and do sound alright. Even at the cheap price you can buy them at, I'd still not recommend them, as there are much better ones out there, which don't break and are of better quality.

Thanks for reading,

Dan ©
