I would strongly advise anyone who buys an Ipod to get a different set of headphones for your product! The Apple ones make the sound "tinny" and slightly monotone in some instances. I bought a £5 pair of Extreme ones from HMV and they are a million times better! The Apple ones don't really fit my ears well, I've concluded it's because I have small ear holes, but they have no flexibility in them. I know people that have re-purchased these over and over again but I really can't see why. Mine came with an Ipod Touch so I don't know if the quality of the sound improves on other/older models of Ipod, but I certainly was not impressed. Overall I would definitely recommend just chucking them when you get them and investing in something else, it might change the way you think about your Apple Product, the sound greatly improves with other headphones and they don't have to be expensive either!
