These are the standard earphones that come with your ipod. They look very stylish and have become something of a fashion accessory in recent years. Unfortunately it seems that you have to substitute function for fashion if you use these earphones. The sound quality isn't great and they can become quite uncomfortable after long periods of use. I listen to a lot of lectures on my ipod and they are fine for that use but as soon as i turn to music i notice the difference and the crisp sound the ipod can produce is hindered by these earphones. These headphones don't suffer from the breaking wire where it connects to the ipod that some headphones do that is a plus and if your using the for running or exercising they are quite reliable and don't fall out. But if, like me, you spend time travelling and listening to your ipod then you might want to try another set for better quality.
