Advantages: Free and white

Disadvantages: They lose their placement in the ear far too easily

I've had an ipod for many years now, and as with all ipods it comes with these headphones, they have there distinctive white leads and fit in the ear. However, those are the good points what are the bad ones? Well the headphones when they come have a felt edging which very quickly gets rubbed off when placed in the ear, as soon as that starts to happen the headphone simply starts to fall out of the ear. Now that doesn't mean that the headphone falls out of the ear but it slips just enough to make the listening to the ipod difficult.

After battling with my headphones for about 3 months, with the volume up to maximum and still not hearing certain podcasts on the train I decided to buy some new headphones and well the difference is staggering.

I used my new headphones for a year before they also broke so I went back to my old headphones and well wish I hadn't I found myself walking along the street with fingers in my ears trying desperatley push the headphones in my ears so I can hear whats on my ipod. I very swiftly bought a new pair and threw my ipod headphones away, I'll never go back to them.

The only good thing about them is that they are free and are white so you can find them again when you've updated your ipod and can't find your new black headphones in the morning.

Summary: Even on full volume these headphones are lacking in quality

Totally agree with you. I didn't realise how bad they were 'til I changed to a higher spec pair. The difference was incredible.
