I have several of these to go with my many Ipods and apple products, but i have to say that i have not been impressed with any of these headphones. At first i just thought they were faulty but i have now has at least 5 different pair and they all have the same problems.

The Apple headphones are very stylish and distinctive in their design. The white sophisticated design give the product a professional look that is very aesthetically pleasing. The style is also associated with with apple product such as Ipods, this design is made to go with the product and therefore looks even better with an Ipod than other MP3 players.
Overall the design of this product is very stylish and aesthetically pleasing and looks even better when paired with a similar Apple product

Sound Quality

At first, the sound quality is very good. Its crisp and clear, with a a very distinctive sound. Background noise is also clear so they are good if you are listening to audio books or radio. However the problem is that after a while between 2-6 weeks the sound quality will seriously deteriorate. The sound will no longer be clear and a crackling can be heard in the background and will get worse as the volume is turned up. This has become such a big problem that i now no longer buy apple headphone instead i buy similar style headphones from Sony as the sound quality lasts much longer.

Reliability

As said in the sound quality section this product is not reliable and will break or the quality deteriorate so much it can become unusable. But it is not only the sound quality that is unreliable. The headphone themselves are unreliable. It is again after about a months use that the headphone themselves will start to fall apart. The front part of the headphone will fall off exposing the wires underneath and the wire coverings will come lose from the headphone part, revealing the actual wire underneath.
Overall after about a month these headphone can become useless and you'll have to buy another pair.

Overall this product looks good and has a very professional appeal as well as a very good sound quality to start with. However it is extremely let down by it's reliability and the fact it will only work for a small amount of time before it is beyond use.
I wouldn't recommend this to anyone looking for a pair of headphones as there are plenty of other similar product for about the same price that are much better
