These are the headphones you will automatically get when buying the applicable apple product, such as an iPod, iPhone etc.

Clearly these are headphones made with a budgetary costs in mind. Apple only wishing to spend on their core products, with the earphones a mere afterthought. There is nothing flashy about them. They are simple, streamlined, white or grey in colour and not unattractive.

I was reasonably happy with them when using my iPod, but sometimes find them lacking in real quality when being used to listen to music from my laptop, for example. Bear in mind, I would not say i set my standards particularly high. If you are a music technician or are particularly knowledgeable in this area, then the quality of the earphones will probably seem sub-standard for any product.

I was satisfied enough to order a replacement when my earphones broke after being stood on. However be warned, the quality of the replacement ear phones was most definitely sub-standard. I put this down to the quality of the supplier (from Amazon), but just shows there are dodgy versions of this product out there.

Clearly, this is a no-thrills product. Fine for using with the intended products, but sub-par for most other things.
