The ipod is the most common music player everywhere, people love the interface and the design of their products. The same happens with their earphones with their simple, yet cool design and colour that stands out.

These type of earphones are included in the box when you buy any kind of ipod, that is why it is so common to spot them everywhere. Now they are even more common since the ipad and iphone also includes them. And the most normal to see is that people do not care much about the sound quality, since they just want to start enjoying their devices contents and perhaps, they cannot be bothered to go to a shop and buy new ones.

I would say that being an added feature with apple devices, they are all right. The design is nice, the sound quality is not bad, and if they include the microphone and volume buttons they are even more acceptable. However there are some people, including myself, who prefer way more performance and reliability when it comes to sound quality and durability.

And with those matters you can have issues, especially with the durability. The worst in this respect, is that since they are made of a non common rubber, they start to deteriorate very quickly, accumulating dirt, becoming sticky, and at last, coming apart. And the worst of all is that this happens within a year of use. So if you want a replacement, you have to go to an apple store and pay a high price for something to match with your device, but knowing they won't last long.

The sound quality is all right for being common earphones, normally if you want better quality you would have to get in ear or bigger ones. It would be really good if apple included at least in ear in their products, so that those who want better quality and will not even use once the apple ones, can a. ctually make the most of what is included in the box.

All in all, these earphones are good enough if you got them with your ipod, but do not pay for them, there are way better ones and sometimes cheaper.
