Apple iPod Earphones
Disadvantages: break too easy
I first got a pair of these headphones when I bought and iPod Shuffle, which I have already reviewed.
They came all nicely packaged and look really stylish. At first I felt like if I ever broke them I would have to buy the exact same pair, otherwise I would be doing my Apple iPod an injustice! So bringing out new headphones in this way was a good move by Apple.
I am not an avid music person so for me I didn't need top of the range sound. These headphones where more than suitable for me and allowed me to enjoy my music on the go.
The design of these earphones allows them so sit comfortably in the ear. They came with little foam covers that you could put on the earpiece. However, this made them too bulky and more uncomfortable. I assume this is because Apple was worried about the headphone being made of plastic, but this wasn't a downfall in this area.
This is where the plastic earphones really lost out for me. Headphones typically get left lying around and I'm sure we all know the frustration of walking along only to find your headphones trailing behind you. With them being made of plastic, they couldn't cope with the hustle and bustle of everyday life and like mine; if they got stood on once you can be 99% sure they were broken.
Overall I was happy with these headphones, while they lasted. But since moved on to something a bit more durable for my lifestyle (Which I have also reviewed)
Summary: Good when you get them free, wouldn't pay for them on their own though
