Apple iPod Earphones
Advantages: Great sound quality
Disadvantages: Rubbery rim broke off after a few months.
In terms of visuals, I am pretty sure many of your already know what they look like, mainly because of them being so common due to them coming "free" with every iPod purchase and people using them by default For those of you who don't know, they are a basic design, round earpiece earphones which a rim of rubber edging around them to event slipping from the ear. The cable is a thin rubberised plastic. They are most commonly white to match Apple's brand house style although I have seen then also in black (they could have just been very well disguised knock-offs though).
The sound quality is what is really important with earphones though, once they are in your ear who really cares how they look? You can't even see them then!
The sound quality is really good, for a £20 (When bought separately) set they perform excellently and I would have expected them to have been prices higher based on the sound alone. All sounds come through rich and loud. Everything coming out of them is nice and clear too without any noticeable static or noise.
My only issue with them is that they always seem to fall out of my right ear for some reason. Whether or not I am moving. The left ear is fine but the right one just likes to wander.
The rubbery rim on the right earbud broke off after a few months for some reason. This may have contributed to it falling out of my ear but it also happened occasionally before this happened. Due to Apple being well known fro their great build quality I was very surprised that the rim broke off of heir product.
Summary: If you can keep them in your ears, they are perfect!
